Ease of access is essential to the construction of water retaining structures, making sprayed concrete an ideal material for such projects. The ease of application of sprayed concrete means that materials can be applied in restricted areas, often considerable distances from the point of access. Without the need to transport and erect bulky formwork only the operator and delivery hoses need to be able to visit the workface. The dry spray material can be delivered in bags and transported easily by forklift, road rail trailer
or other such means to enable work at remote locations to be completed.
